Grades 1-6
Our Primary School program prepares students not only for the next grade level but also for understanding who they are as learners and individuals. With strong academics, engaging arts, sports, and talent development, Keystone’s Grades 1 to 6 experience lays the foundation for lifelong learning.
Core Academics with Consistency and Care
- Each class is guided by a homeroom teacher who teaches both English and Math.
- Students spend most of their day with their homeroom teacher, which supports personalized learning and strong student-teacher relationships.
- The curriculum prioritizes language development, numeracy, and critical thinking, aligned with global standards.
Hands-On Learning
We believe students learn best by doing. Our classrooms are filled with active learning experiences:
- Creating stop-motion films using technology and storytelling
- Participating in debates and group projects
- Exploring topics through interactive, interdisciplinary activities
Bilingual and Arts-Enriched Curriculum
- French is a compulsory subject and continues as a core part of the weekly schedule.
- Weekly Music and Visual Arts classes are taught by subject specialists and designed to engage students in creative exploration.
- Students take part in recitals and exhibitions that showcase their artistic growth and confidence.
Physical Education and Student Well-Being
- Daily physical activity is built into the program, supported by our on-site gym.
- Our students also compete in local sports competitions, including tennis, with several recognized as local champions.
- A schoolwide house system encourages friendly competition, teamwork, and school spirit.
Clubs and Talent Discovery
Every child is unique, and we make space for them to explore their interests:
- A wide selection of clubs including dance, sports, chess, mind games, IT, and arts and crafts
- Teachers and staff actively identify and support students’ talents, helping them grow with confidence
- Annual music recitals and other performance opportunities are organized for students with artistic passions
