Lunch
Keystone International Schools provides balanced, freshly prepared lunches daily. Meals are made using seasonal ingredients and exclude pork, processed foods, and GMOs. Meat is served occasionally, and vegetarian options are always available.
Snack offerings rotate between salty and sweet items, and students are expected to bring their own water bottles. The lunch program encourages healthy eating habits and shared responsibility; students clean up after themselves, and teachers model appropriate behavior during meals.
Food waste is minimized by serving small portions, with second servings offered as needed. Special dietary needs can be accommodated with prior notice. For classroom events and birthdays, only labeled, nut-free, homemade food is permitted in line with school policy.

Nurse and Health
The school nurse is responsible for student health, first aid, and daily medical needs. The nurse maintains all medical records, administers medications with parental consent, and monitors students for signs of illness or injury. Emergency procedures are clearly outlined and followed by all staff.
Routine health screenings are conducted throughout the year, including lice checks and BMI assessments. The nurse coordinates with the Ministry of Health on vaccinations and screenings, and provides end-of-day health reports.
For school trips, medications are prepared with a signed form, and emergency protocols are in place. Students visiting the infirmary must be accompanied by a teacher unless in an emergency.

Transportation
Keystone’s transportation procedures prioritize student safety and clear communication with families. Parents must notify the school of any changes in pick-up or shuttle arrangements. Students commuting independently must have signed parental permission.
School buses are operated by licensed drivers and follow regulated pick-up and drop-off procedures. Attendance is taken before dismissal, and students not taking the bus are handed directly to a parent or authorized guardian.
Emergency contact lists are maintained and reviewed regularly to ensure safe transportation for all students.
