Keystone PTO

Keystone’s PTO is a volunteer organization committed to supporting the school community—students, families, teachers, and staff. Managed by a committee of parent volunteers and members of the school Leadership Team, the PTO aims to:

  • Welcome all families and support their integration into school life
  • Enhance communication among parents, students, teachers, and administrators
  • Organize community events and activities throughout the school year

Fundraising initiatives and charitable drives are coordinated by the PTO to benefit local and school-based causes. Each class elects a Class Parent, who acts as the liaison between families, teachers, and the PTO. Volunteer roles range from event coordination to snack sales and drives, and parents are encouraged to get involved in planning and execution of PTO-led activities.

As parents and foreigners we are thrilled to have found Keystone International School for our kid's education here in Istanbul. We are a family from South America, Argentina, Ecuador and Brazil, and we have been living abroad since Luca was just 5 months, so it is important to find a school that will give us the confidence that he is developing his intellectual and social skills in a healthy and friendly environment. This has been the case with Keystone. Since day one the teachers and staff have been amazing, very warm, communicative and experienced. ​I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience my daughter has had at Keystone International School. Ever since my daughter joined Keystone in 2021-2022 as a fourth-grader, her journey has been amazing. The warmth and nurturing environment provided by the school have made Keystone feel like a second home to my daughter. The holistic approach to education, which not only focuses on imparting knowledge but also on nurturing the heart, soul, and character of our children, is truly commendable. I greatly appreciate the accessibility and open communication channels that Keystone offers. Being able to address concerns and issues promptly, whether through reaching out to the school or having my daughter visit the principal and vice principal, has been invaluable. One aspect of Keystone that I also like is its diverse community. The opportunity for our children to learn and grow alongside peers from different backgrounds and cultures is truly enriching. Keystone is more than a school. It is family. I see that my children’s physical and emotional needs are a priority for the school. They feel safe and happy. Happy children learn. I have been a parent at Keystone for 12 years and one of the things I respect most about the school is its value of growth and learning, not just for students but also within the academic structure.
